Day 1 in Peru

After multiple flights, layovers and a few travel obstacles, we finally made it! It has been two years since TeamUp has taken a group trip overseas. We couldn’t be more excited to see our partner organizations again and the people we have built awesome relationships with over the years.

Once we checked into our accommodations, our Impact Team divided into two groups, serving the communities of Manchay and Villa María Del Triunfo (VMT) — pictured below. In VMT we were greeted by our partner organization, Camino de Vida, where we helped transport food & meal equipment to feed kids in the local area. We then enjoyed a game of pick up soccer with the kids who came running down the hills to join.
