Sponsor a Team Today!

Make a lasting impact with your team for years to come! You are invited to “team up” with a team in need across the world — enabling them to experience a place of hope, purpose, belonging and opportunity through sport.

Step 1:

Select a team of interest to sponsor and submit the form below.

From the list below, please select the region of a team you are interested in sponsoring. There are different levels of sponsorship to choose from: $2500 or $5000 CAD.

Step 2:

Set up a video call meeting with TeamUp.

Once you submit the form, TeamUp will contact you to set up a video call to discuss payment/fundraising options and answer any questions you may have.

If you do not receive a meeting link within 48 hours of working business days, please email info@teamup.world

Step 3

Congratulations! You are now sponsoring a team.

You and your team will receive monthly impact updates, including photos and videos from your sponsored team via TeamUp. Back and forth communication between teams including pen pal opportunities will be facilitated by TeamUp.

What your sponsorship will support:

  • Sports Programs

    Enable kids to belong to a team and coaches with the resources to train, lead and inspire their athletes.

  • Education

    Just $50 provides a child with an education in Malawi for an entire year.

  • Life-Skill Training

    Enable kids to learn valuable life-skills native to their region. Ex, argoforesty, stove-training, gardening, etc.

  • Nutrition Programs

    Fuel teams on and off the field. Your sponsorship will enable kids to eat a nutritious meal each day.

  • Coaching Education

    Inspire and interact with coaches internationally to help impact the lives of their athletes.

Sponsorship Packages:

  • Sponsor a team for $2500 CAD.

    Sponsorship includes the following for 1 year:

    • Equipment and resources for teams to train and compete

    • Access to education

    • Access to nutrition programs

    • Access to life-skill training

    Team Interaction:

    • Monthly communication facilitated by TeamUp

    • Pen pal opportunities

    • Opportunities for coaches to engage with each other, share resources, and inspire one another.

  • Sponsor a team for $5000 CAD.

    Sponsorship includes the following for 1 year for an entire community (minimum 3 teams):

    • Equipment and resources for teams to train and compete

    • Access to education

    • Access to nutrition programs

    • Access to life-skill training

    Team Interaction:

    • Monthly communication facilitated by TeamUp

    • Pen pal opportunities

    • Opportunities for coaches to engage with each other, share resources, and inspire one another.

FAQs

  • Your sponsorship will go directly towards supporting the team and the overall growth of the sports program in the sponsored region.

    In addition, you will impact the lives of the kids/athletes in fundamental growth areas that are a necessity to survival in Malawi specifically, as well as Paraguay and Peru.

    There will also be a small administrative fee related to facilitating the partnership (including communication & bank fees).

  • If your team decides to sponsor/team up with a team, the sponsorship will be for one year. Your team will have the option to extend the sponsorship before the beginning of the following year.

  • We are happy to inform you that your sponsorship package includes the ability to utilize our crowdfunding platform.

    We will provide you with your very own, customizable fundraising page to let your family, friends and supporters know about the awesome impact you and your teammates are making!

    This allows your team to raise funds through community support and allows others to join the journey with you.

    We also encourage you to run physical fundraisers as you see fit. This will help your team get the word out about the good you are doing. TeamUp is here to help and support you through this.

  • Once you fill out the form/questionnaire, one of our staff members will get in touch as soon as possible to schedule an orientation time with you and your team. We believe it is important to walk through the process, to make sure everyone is on the same page and get you excited about the impact you can make together!

  • Your team will have the opportunity to learn more about how sports can be used a tool to impact others.

    By taking a wholistic approach to supporting and sponsoring a team, you will learn more about global realities related to poverty, cultural differences, as well as the opportunity to participate in coaching education that will improve and put your understanding of the game into practice.

    Through the sponsorship program, your team is invited to grow, experience, and impact others, by actively participating in a cause that will create a lasting impact beyond the pitch.
